HYDERABAD, June 13: Eminent urologist Dr. Syed Adeebul Hassan Rizivi on Wednesday inaugurated the building of newly established Mohni Bai Tarachand Surgical and Trauma Centre near Filter Plant on Jamshoro Road.

He called upon philanthropists to help the organisations engaged in providing medical facilities to people and said that people from all sections of society should play their role in establishing hospitals and helping make medical facilities available to common people near their doorsteps.

The Mohni Bai Tarachand Surgical and Trauma Centre would provide people of Hyderabad and its surrounding areas medical treatment closer to their homes, he added.

Dr. Rizvi said that health and education were basic rights of people and public and private sectors should make joint efforts to ensure people have them.

The chief executive and trustee of Mohni Bai Tarachand Surgical and Trauma Centre Fida Hussain Shah briefed participants about the centre. The University of Sindh Vice-Chancellor Dr Mazharul Haq Siddiqui and Health Services Sindh Director General Dr. Hadi Bux Jatoi were also present at the inauguration ceremony.—APP
