HYDERABAD, June 12: Summer vacations at the University of Sindh will commence from Wednesday June 13 and end on August 1, according to an announcement made by the university registrar on Tuesday.

However, the deans of the faculties would remain on duty as usual and directors/chairpersons of the centres, institutes and departments would remain present on their duties twice a week on Monday and Tuesday during the summer vacation, the announcement said.

The administrative staff of the teaching departments would also remain on their duties as usual, it added.

TEST: The University of Sindh conducted test for the post of clerks at the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science on Tuesday. As many as 474 candidates appeared for 12 posts.

SPSC: The Sindh Public Service Commission has declared the results of examinations for the posts of assistant collectors, accountant, accounts clerks and forest officer etc held in May.

PAF: The PAF information and Selection Centre, Hyderabad, announced on Tuesday that registration for the posts of education instructor in the Pakistan Air Force will continue up to June 15. Male candidates having bachelor degree in second division are eligible to apply.
