LAHORE, Oct 20: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Lahore, on Saturday declared the results of secondary school (supplementary) examination for 2001 showing a pass percentage of 53.18.

According to the result notification, 10,200 of the 19,178 candidates who appeared in the examination were successful.

Out of the 5,063 candidates appearing in the Science Group 2,959 passed, yielding a pass percentage of 58.44. Of the 14,115 candidates who appeared in the General Group, 7,241 passed, showing a pass percentage of 51.3.

The notification said the candidates who appeared in all the subjects in the secondary school (annual) examination for 2001 and were placed under compartment may re-appear in the failing subject(s) till secondary school (annual) examination for 2002. Whereas, the candidates who appeared in full subjects in the secondary school (supplementary) examination for 2001 may re-appear in the failing subject(s) till secondary school (supplementary) examination for 2002.

The candidates who have passed the secondary school (supplementary) examination for 2001 are eligible for admission to the first year class.

According to the schedule for admission for these candidates, the admission forms can be submitted without late fee from Oct 26 to Nov 6. The admission forms can also be submitted with late fee of Rs300 from Nov 7 to Nov 17. The late fee will be payable to the board.
