JACOBABAD, June 10: Four persons, including a woman and two teenagers, were killed and three women injured in an attack on a village in the Kutcha area of Kandhkot early on Sunday morning.

Reports reaching here said that 20 armed Jakhrani tribesmen attacked Bhaghi Bhayo village when its residents were asleep.

The villagers woke up and an exchange of fire took place. As a result, Ms Mochari, Mureed, 8, Fareed, 13, and Abdul Latif, 45, were killed on the spot and Ms Satoon, Ms Heerzadi and Ms Rabul were wounded.

Later, the Ghorha Ghat police took the bodies and those injured to a Kandhkot hospital where Rabul’s condition is said to be critical.

So far 17 people have been killed in the ongoing Jakhrani-Bhayo feud caused by a dispute over a petty matter.
