NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, June 9: A number of political activists and local people have threatened to stage a sit-in outside the district government complex and block the National Highway on June 19, if the encroachments from a government madaressah and Naushahro Feroze High school were not removed.

The decision was taken at a meeting held at press club here on Saturday.

Office-bearers of political parties including Awami Tehrik, PPP, PML-N, JSM, JSQM and others attended the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, naib nazim UC Naushahro Feroze, Dr Abdul Qadir, Manzoor Mughal (PML-N), Syed Karam Ali Shah and Ghous Ali Shah (PPP), Mohammad Hashim Khoso (JSM), Ghulam Hussain Soomro (Awami Tehrik) and others said that the education department had failed to protect one of the oldest high schools of Sindh.
