72 sent to jail in Sialkot

SIALKOT, June 8: Police on Friday sent all 72 activists of the PML-N, the PPP and the MMA from Sialkot and Narowal districts, detained under MPO 16, to the district jail here for three months.

According to official sources, they were arrested by the police three days ago from Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial, Uggoki, Satrah, Pasrur, Chawinda, Badiana, Shakargarh, Zafarwal, Baddo Malhi, Noor Kot, Narowal and surrounding areas in a crackdown in a bid to avert their possible participation in the anti-government activities.
