PESHAWAR, June 7: Five people, including a child, were killed and 11 others injured in different incidents here on Thursday. According to the Mattani police, four people were killed and three others injured when their pick-up was fired at by their alleged enemies near the Sharakeera area.

The deceased were identified as Said Amir and Jan Akbar from the Kalakhel area, Zainullah Bara from Khyber Agency and Fawad Khan of Badabher village in Peshawar.

The survivors of the attack have nominated Aqil, Manzoor, Ghulam Akbar and others as attackers in their FIR.

The injured were identified as Mubarak Shah, Fazle Manan and Akbar Khan.

A child, Taimur, died and eight others, including four women, were injured when the roof of their house collapsed near old Chowki on the old Jamrud Road near Hayatabad.

Police said one Zahirullah was killed by one Hameedullah in the Telaband area over a dispute over loan.
