KARACHI, June 6: KASB Bank crushed Bank of Tokyo by 112 runs in a round game of the 1st Meezan Inter-bank colour-kit tournament at the UBL Sports Complex the other day.

Batting first, KASB Bank posted 211-7 in the allotted 25 overs, with Sarosh Ibrahim (42), Zubair Ali (33), Asim Imran (32), and Sameer Khan (30) shining with the willow. Ashar Ali and Saad Bin Faisal claimed two wickets each.

Some incisive bowling from Sarosh (3-12), Babar Agha (3-17), and Azeem Khan (2-28) did not allow Bank of Tokyo any respite as they were bowled out for 99 despite getting a solid opening stand of 69 by Farhan Ahmed (34) and Ahsan Mirza (30). The Man-of-the-Match award went to Sarosh.
