LAHORE, June 5: Pakistan and Qatar will clash for the eighth time when they meet in the 29th Olympic Games qualifiers at Al-Gharrafa Stadium, Qatar on Wednesday.

It will be fourth ever clash between the U-21 teams of the two nations in Olympics, while the national sides have played each other four times.

Both the teams played two-leg matches in Barcelona Olympics Qualifiers (West/ Central Asia - Group A).

Qatar, won the first leg at Peshawar's Qayyum Stadium 4-0 in 1991, followed by 2-0 win in the second leg at Doha a month later.

In the current event Qatar beat Pakistan 2-0 in the first leg at Islamabad’s Jinnah Stadium on March 14.
