HYDERABAD, June 4: District Nazim Hyderabad, Kanwar Naveed Jamil has directed Wasa to ensure availability of pumping machines to meet emergency during monsoon. He issued these instructions while inspecting different pumping stations in the city on Sunday.He said keeping in view the last year’s experience, efforts had been made to modify the entire sewerage system therefore people should not fear accumulation of rainwater in their localities. Concerned UC nazims and Wasa officials were accompanying the Nazim.

He directed alternate machinery at pumping stations to ensure uninterrupted drainage of rainwater. He said desilting of remaining nullahs should also be carried out without delay.
