Badminton camp from Monday

LAHORE, May 25: A badminton training camp to prepare a strong team to take part in the SAF Games-2009, to be held in Bangladesh, will start at the Islamabad Sports Complex from Monday.

Pakistan Badminton Federation secretary Aamir Hayat Rokhri said Imtiaz Gill has been appointed as camp-commandant whereas Asadullah Aleem would coach youngsters.

Players who are selected to attend the camp are: Hashir Bashir, M. Ijaz, Mohammad Attique, Rizwan Azam, Atif Nadeem, Kashif Sulehry, Danish Altaf, Taimoor, Arsalan Khan, Hafiz Irfan, Sara Khan, Palwasha Basheer, Aqsa Razaq, Monisha, Sara Mohmand.

He said top players like Wajid Ali and Umar Zeeshan would join the camp later.
