Man dies, 9 injured in accident

FATEHJANG, May 24: A man was killed and 9 others were injured in road accident here on Thursday.

According police, a Rawalpindi-bound passenger van (RLD- 8215) met the accident near Hattar due to over-speed as a result Mohammad Naiz died on the spot.

Imran, Afzal, Ijaz Ahmad Jaffar, Fida Hussain Sadkal, Niaz Mohammad, Riasat Mahmood Akhori, Asif, Mulakh Bano Jaffar and driver Wajid Ali were critically injured, who were taken to the Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Fatehjang.

Later, they were shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital Rawalpindi. Police registered a case against the driver and started investigation.
