LARKANA, May 24: PPP-SB chairperson Ghinwa Bhutto has asked workers of the People’s Party Parliamentarians to join her party, instead of feeling disappointed on the face of a deal of their party’s leadership with President Musharraf.

It had surfaced that Benazir Bhutto and General Musharraf were striking a deal, said Ms Ghinwa and added: “The PPP workers should not feel dejected by the move as the PPP-SB will welcome them wholeheartedly and they can continue their struggle from this platform.”

Addressing PPP-SB office-bearers and party workers at Al-Murtaza House, She said her party will continue to support the struggle of lawyers as lawyers were fighting for the supremacy of constitution and the rule of law.

She appreciated the lawyers for restraining political parties from giving their struggle a political colour and said: “This is purely a constitutional struggle. She asked the workers to expedite mass contact and keep abreast the people about 'fast changing' scenario in the country. Meenhon Khan Rind, president, PPP-SB, Sindh chapter, Inayat Baloch, Seema Rafique and others also addressed the meeting.
