SAHIWAL, May 23: Doctors in the operation theatre of the DHQ Hospital abused each other while a patient was being operated upon on Wednesday. It is learnt that surgeon Dr Karim Sherazi and his team were operating upon Shamaila, 18, when Dr Sadiq Salim came there and asked a trainee nurse for a cup of tea.
Dr Karim objected to it. On it, Dr Sadiq abused Dr Karim who returned the complement and an exchange of abuses continued for some time.
The family of Shamaila protested against the behaviour of doctors and asked for action against the guilty doctor. — Correspondent
