KARACHI: Anti-polio campaign

KARACHI, May 21: The Expanded Programme on Immunization plans to launch sub-national immunization days against the polio virus in two phases in the province from May 22 to May 24 and June 2 to June 3.

EPI-Sindh Programme Manager Dr Salma Kauser on Monday said 1.6168 million children in Khairpur, Sukkur, Ghotki, Shikarpur, Jacobabad, Kashmore and Larkana would be administered oral polio vaccines in the first phase. During the second phase, she said 2.2452 million children from Karachi would be provided with oral polio vaccine.—APP
