HYDERABAD, May 18: Mother of an underage boy who was arrested in a case relating to murder of his uncle by Bulri Shah Karim police, filed an application before the District and Session Judge Hyderabad, on Friday and sought release of her son on the ground that he had been cleared during investigation of the case but was not being released by the administration of the central jail.

The application was filed by Mrs.Zahida, mother of Rehman before sessions judge through Bashrat Ahmed Jatt, advocate. It would come up for hearing on Monday.

She cited Superintendent of Central Jail Hyderabad, SP Investigation Tando Mohammad Khan, Taluka Investigation Officer (TIO) Tando Mohammad Khan and SHO Bulri Shah Karim as respondents.

According to her application, her three sons including Asad, Rehman and Samiullah were arrested in the murder case of her step brother, Abbass Haider.

She said, police had also arrested Sabir and Majeed although they were not named in FIR and had nothing to do with the dispute over lands. She said her son Rehman is a student of class-IX in Cadet College Petaro.

She said police had also taken away fertiliser, cattle, crops and other items from the land apart from arresting her sons. She said, on May 11 she had filed an application which was allowed by sessions judge for registration of FIR against accused for occupying her land. Then, she said, Sabir, Majeed, Asad and Samiullah were shifted to some other place.

She said, the concerned civil judge and magistrate had ordered his medical examination and on May 11 he was remanded to judicial custody in juvenile section of the central jail.

She said, the SP Investigation of Tando Mohammad, TIO and SHO Bulri Shah Karim police station submitted a report before the concerned court clearing him with the statement that he was no more required for investigation. She said her son is in illegal custody, and the central jail superintendent is bound to release him.
