GHALLANAI, May 17: Electricity supply to the Mohmand Agency was suspended when two high-power transmission towers collapsed in a storm on Wednesday night. An official at the Tribal Electric Supply Company (Tesco) said the company had sought Rs800,000 from the political administration as it had no funds to initiate the repair work.

The power supply to Mohammad Gut and Ghallani grid stations remained suspended. These towers had also collapsed last years and Tesco staff repaired it temporarily.
