Golf team leaves for Malaysia

LAHORE, May 14: A two-member Pakistan team has departed for Malaysia to take part in the 105th Malaysian Amateur Golf championship due to start from Thursday at Nexus Golf Resort Championship Course, Kot Kinabalu, Sabah.

Danyal Jahangir and M. Safdar are playing members while Mohammed Irfan Khan is the manager.

Prior to departing for Malaysia, Danayal and M. Safdar went through a rigorous training schedule.

In particular Danyaal Jehangir, who is loaded with talent and keen about his international performance took special lessons from Daniel Hemingway of Royal Palm.

Leading players from ten countries will be contesting this event which will be played on stroke play format over 72 holes.
