MANSEHRA, May 6: The District Coordination Officer has issued notices to displaced families asking them to vacate the Daryal tent-village and return to their native areas, sources said on Sunday.

District Nazim Sardar Mohammad Yousaf had earlier said that until the displaced families were paid Rs75,000 as compensation amount or given five-marla land for constructing houses, they would not be asked to vacate the Daryal tent-village. But, contrary to the district nazim’s announcement, the Mansehra DCO issued notices to the displaced families to vacate the temporary shelter by May 18.
