PESHAWAR, May 4: Pakistan and Turkey should work on programmes for exchange of medical students to enhance their educational capabilities and to learn from each other’s experiences.

This was stated by Dr Tamer Tatar, head of a 10-member Turkish delegation that visited the Khyber Medical College on Friday.

He said that Pakistan-Turkey relationship would further be flourished in future and students of the two countries should continue exchanging visits for educational purposes.

The delegation comprising medical specialists from Turkey held meetings with the principal and faculty members.

KMC principal Prof Fazal Ahmad briefed the delegation about functioning of the college.

He informed the delegation about faculty, hostels, Khyber Teaching Hospital, Hayatabad Medical Complex, Reference Library, Self-Learning Resource Centre, Research Centre, Research Projects and existing programmes in various sections of the college.
