HYDERABAD, April 28: One Qurban Ali Solangi said on Saturday that his son Waheed Ali had been missing since police raided his house in Gulshan-i-Mehran Phase-II Qasimabad and arrested him on the night of April 21.

Mr Solangi told a news conference at the press club that he had submitted an application to the sessions judge of Hyderabad on April 26 for the recovery of his son who ordered civil judge and judicial magistrate-IV Hyderabad to raid Qasimabad police station but he did not find any trace of his son there.

He said that the police had detained his son at some private place and expressed the fear that they might kill him in a fake encounter or implicate him in false cases. He appealed to the high authorities to order recovery of his son.
