Honour killings continue

SHEIKHUPURA, April 22: Two more honour killing cases were reported from Shiekhupura and Toba Tek Singh on Sunday.

In Kot Yaqoob, falling in the Ferozewala police limits in Shiekhupura, two brothers with the help of their close relative killed their cousin `R’ for marrying a man the family did not like.

Police were investigating Atiqur Rehman, Habibur Rehman and their accomplice.

TOBA TEK SINGH: Mystery of a missing girl was solved on Sunday when her cousin confessed her murder during investigation before Arrouti police.

Accused Zawar Bhatti of Nawab Bhooti village near Pirmahal told police that deceased `S’ had illicit relations with a youth of the same village.

Police recovered girl’s body from farmland.
