ATTOCK, April 20: Four persons were injured in scuffles, while the police arrested 14 outlaws in the last 24 hours.

Mohammad Fiaz, a resident of Badian village, was allegedly attacked by two persons — Ahmad and Jameel Khan — with wooden sticks over a minor dispute Thursday evening. As a result, he sustained multiple injuries.

Noor Zaman, a farmer settled in Jand area, told the police that he was injured by five village fellows — Mohammad Iqbal, Ghulab Khan, Muzaffar Khan, Sajjad and Shams — over a land dispute.

A man identified as Sherjhang, a resident of Pind Sultani falling in the jurisdiction of Basal police station, was injured by his village fellow — Munsab Khan — over a minor dispute.

Matloob, a resident of Bohi village, reported to the local police that his friend, Mehboob, attacked him when he refused to go for a picnic.

Meanwhile, the Attock police have arrested 14 outlaws in separate strikes in different areas of the district.

The Attock Saddar police detained Abdul Rauf for running an illegal distillery in Khari village and also seized 70 litres of liquor.

Attock Khurd police took into custody five outlaws — Adnan, Qasim, Mohammad Ismail, Mohammad Ejaz and Ehsan — for possessing 20kg Hashish, three pistols and two rifles during the checking of different Rawalpindi-bound vehicles on the G.T. Road.

Attock City police have arrested Orangzaib for possessing 110gm hashish, while Fatehjang police arrested a man — Nofal Afghani — for keeping an unlicenced 30-bore pistol.

Hassanabdal Saddar police detained three persons, Shehbaz, Adam Khan and Mohammad Nawaz, and seized a 32-bore revolver, a 12-bore repeater gun and a 30-bore pistol from them.
