Five killed in road accident

QUETTA, April 19: Five people, including a woman, were killed and 15 others injured when a passenger wagon overturned on the RCD Highway, near the Baghbana area of Khuzdar district, on Thursday.

According to sources, when the wagon reached the Zawrah village the driver lost control over the steering due to overspeeding as a result of which five people, including the driver, were killed and 15 others were injured.

On receiving information about the accident levies officials rushed to the site and shifted the injured to the Civil Hospital in Khuzdar.

Three victims were identified as Mohammad Amin (driver), Sikandar and Sanaullah, while the name of the woman and another person could not be ascertained.
