QUETTA, April 18: A man was killed after he stepped over a landmine planted by some unknown people in Pathar Nullah area of the Dera Bugti on Wednesday. Arif Khan Bugti, Superintendent of Agriculture Department of Dera Bugti, was on his way home when the incident occurred.

Meanwhile, police have arrested 22 militants from Kikat area of Bolan district and recovered a huge quantity of illegal arms and ammunition.

Bolan District Police Office Salman Haideri, while confirming the arrests of the militants, told newsmen that the arrests and seizures of arms and ammunition had been made during a raid in the area.
