MIRPURKHAS, April 18: Mirpurkhas DPO Abdullah Shaikh on Wednesday suspended the SHO of Old Mirpur police station Ghulam Nabi Shar for releasing two trucks loaded with scrap which had been impounded two days ago. He directed the SHO of taluka police station Shah Nawaz Khaskheli to report at the police line Mirpurkhas.
Old Mirpur police had impounded two scrap laden trucks owned by Rehan and Abdul Ghani and released them after reportedly taking illegal gratification.
Reports said that trucks were loaded with stolen scrap.
