One killed, two hurt in clash

JACOBABAD, April 16: One was killed while two others sustained injuries in a clash erupted between Ogahi and Teghani people at deh Dhangi in the jurisdiction of Ghouspur police, Kandhkot on Monday.

Two groups exchanged fire as a result one Essab was killed on the spot, and Kuraro and an unknown person were injured.

The feud has claimed 30 lives from the two groups so far, say reports.

No FIR was lodged till the filing of this report.

KILLED: A clerk of the GPO Jacobabad was killed in the office on Monday. The cause was reported to be an old enmity.

Reports said that Ali Nawaz Bosan 32, was on his duty when two persons Sikandar and Asghar both of Teghani tribe reached there and opened fire with the TT pistol.

The accused tried to flee but senior postmaster, Arz Mohammad informed police on 15 who reached the scene and chased the assailants. After a brief encounter in the city area, one Asghar Teghani fled from the scene while his accomplice Sikandar Teghani was arrested with the pistol.

One passer-by Faiz Mohammad Jamali was hit by a bullet in the cross-firing and was shifted to the Civil Hospital.

The deceased's brother Mohammad Amin lodged an FIR against Sikandar and Asghar Teghani with the city police.
