KARACHI, April 16: Sindh Home Adviser Waseem Akhtar on Monday advised Pakistani Bengalis to approach the newly formed committee to get their legal issues solved.

Speaking at a meeting, held in office, he also formed a committee comprising two members each of Nadra, Nara and Pakistani Bengalis Action Committee, and advised Bengalis that while applying for national identity card they should approach the committee to scrutinise their papers.

He said in this way they be saved from harassment by government officials.

He told the police, Nadra and Special Branch officials that Pakistani Bengalis should not be harassed. He also directed the Nadra officials to take stern action against the people issuing fake forms.
