ISLAMABAD, April 14: Ministry of Commerce has further extended the deadline for renewing licences of trade organisations to June 30, 2007 from the earlier May 15 to facilitate the trading community.

With this extension, the elections within the trade organisations are now scheduled to be held from July 1 to Sept 30, 2007.

An official announcement issued here said that the ministry of commerce will dispose of all the licensing applications by June 30, 2007 so that the election cycle of the trade bodies is strictly adhered to.
