KARACHI, April 13: Various international companies are getting their software prepared from IT engineers in Sindh, which helps earning foreign exchange for the country. This was stated by the Adviser to the Sindh Chief Minister for Information Technology, Noman Saigal, on Friday.

He pointed out that there had been a tremendous growth of the technically-trained manpower in the province, particularly in Karachi. He said a lot of work had been done for the past five years for the promotion of information technology in Sindh. The city was emerging as attractive hub in the realms of technology, he added.

Saigal said owing to the government policies modern technology was being introduced in health, education, industry, business and aviation sectors, which was resulting in increased opportunities for investment.—APP
