KARACHI, April 13: Six ships including a car carrier carrying 110 units are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Saturday, according to KPT sources. Berthing activity at the wharves was modest where three ships, Conti-Esperance, Calvin P. Titus to unload and load containers and Banglar Maya to offload general cargo were berthed after the departure of seven.

The ships, which departed included Global Prosperity, BBC England, Iran Hesabi, Liberty Spirit, Thor Futura, Hyundai Advance and Y.M. Energy while Lalazar, Benarita, Nyzdan, Rickmer Doha, Asian Queen, Conti Esperance, Calvin P.Titus and Reliance Ocean are due to sail out on Saturday.

Cargo handling activity was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 0.114m tons comprising 33,144 tons of export cargo and 81,200 tons of import cargo was handled.

The following ships are due on Saturday: Bunga Terasek, Iran Baabaei, Corin Thaikos and E.R. Perth with containers, Asian Leader with 110 cars, Hoa Phat-02 to load project cargo and Ponto Nikis to offload coal.
