ISLAMABAD, April 12: Pakistan Muslim League president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain on Thursday said that friendly relations between Pakistan and China have further strengthened due to cooperation in trade and industrial sectors.

He expressed these views during a meeting here with a Chinese delegation led by Ambassador Luo Zhaouhi.

Mr Hussain said Chinese investments in mega projects would bring about economic stability and create new job opportunities. He said the government was providing free land and low-cost infrastructure to foreign investors, apart from ensuring them best possible security arrangements so that their industries could flourish.

Mr Zhaouhi said that keeping in view the better industrial environment, more investors from China would start projects in Pakistan.
