Robbers loot Rs300,000 from grocer

VEHARI, April 11: Three dacoits looted a grocery shop at gunpoint in main bazaar here on Wednesday. Reports said three motorcyclists entered the shop and held up owner Haji Sardar, his son Qamar Yazdan and other customers at gunpoint. The robbers made off with Rs300,000, cell phones and other valuables. Police are looking into the matter. This is the second dacoity during a week. Later, traders have protested against the increasing incidence of robbery in the city and demanded early arrest of the accused.
