KARACHI, April 11: Sindh Chief Secretary Shakil Durrani has called for a report within three days about additional power supply of 700 mw to the city, which was committed by the KESC to the Sindh governor.

He also directed officials of Water and Power Department to provide him the detailed schedule of load-shedding.

The chief secretary issued these instructions when a presentation was given to him on Wednesday by the Water and Power Department in his office. On the occasion, a detailed report was also presented regarding position of barrages in Sindh, their irrigation system and problems.

Mr Durrani said that he would take up the issue of ensuring power supply under a well-coordinated system to the province, including Karachi, with the WAPDA chairman.
