KARACHI, April 10: Sindh Minister for Local Government and Special Development Muhammad Hussain Khan has convened a meeting of all town nazims of Karachi on Thursday to review the situation created in the city by long hours of load shedding by KESC.

He said this while talking to a delegation from various sections of society on Tuesday.

The minister said this problem occurs every year at the start of summer but the KESC management has not taken any steps to rectify the situation.

Pointing out that it was the the KESC management’s responsibility to evolve a comprehensive strategy to overcome load shedding, the minister said the situation was becoming worse.

He said the meeting would discuss the utility’s management and possible solutions to over come the power crisis.

The LG minister also invited suggestions and proposals from citizens to improve the KESC’s performance.
