SAHIWAL, April 8: A girl was allegedly gang-raped by sons of two landlords here on Sunday at Chak 50/GD while the police have arrested the two main accused.
Reports said `A’ (18), daughter of a farmer, was kidnapped by Jabbar, Amin and their friends. They took her to a deserted place, raped her and later threw her in the fields.
Noorshah police have registered a case under section 376-PPC and arrested Jabbar and Amin.
SUICIDE: An old man committed suicide here on Sunday over the rude behaviour of his married sons at Chak 57/12-L.
Reports said sons of Rehmat Ali used to misbehave with him. On Sunday morning, he came to the railway track, appeared in front of Lahore-bound Shalimar express and ended his life.
Police are investigating.
