KARACHI, April 8: Pasban on Sunday condemned the government for patronizing killers, robbers and extortionists and demanded that all culprits be arrested immediately and punished according to the law.

Speaking at a demonstration to protest against the killing of Samreen Rizwan and non-arrest of her killers, the speakers – Usman Moazzam, Ashraf Hussain, Afzal Ahmad and others -- said that she was shot dead while resisting mobile snatchers in Nazimabad.

They condemned the rulers, whom they accused of patronizing outlaws and murderers. They said that a sense of insecurity was spreading among the masses when they saw that culprits were not being arrested.

Earlier, the protesters took out a procession and marched through Gol Market, Chandni Chowk, Khilafat Chowk, Nazimabad, Liaquatabad, Rizvia Chowrangi, etc.
