LAHORE, April 7: Tanzeem-i-Islami chief Dr Israr Ahmed has urged students and teachers of Jamia Hafsa and Lal Masjid not to create the law and order situation by taking law in their hands. In a statement, Dr Israr said the Jamia Hafsa deadlock would harm not only the country but Islam as well. He urged both the government and the Lal Masjid administration to resolve the issue peacefully. He said mainstream religious parties should play reconciliatory role.
