SHIKARPUIR, April 7: A prominent leader of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Sardar Wahid Bux Bhayo, was arrested and lodged in Central Jail Sukkur on Saturday. Sardar Bhayo was on bail in kidnapping case of a girl Shabbiran of Kashmore.

The case was registered under section 365-A and 342 PPC at Hamayoon police station, on the order of Sindh High Court circuit bench, Larkana.

The case was pending in the special anti-terrorism court No.2 Sukkur. On Saturday, it cancelled the bail of Bhayo. He was present in the court. Later, he was sent to Central Prison Sukkur.

The complainant Faiz Mohammad Malik was working as a farmer on the agricultural land of Sardar Bhayo and his daughter Shabbiran 5, was left in the house of Sardar Bhayo as a housemaid.

Faiz Mohammad had taken a loan of Rs70,000 from Mr Bhayo but he failed to pay the same and escaped from the Jagan village leaving his daughter at the house of Sardar Bhayo.

Later, Bhayo reportedly refused to return the girl to Faiz Mohammad till the loan was paid by her father.
