Hamza leads team to victory

LAHORE, April 5: Four-goal Hamza Nawaz helped Zamco beat Sherwood 8 1/2-4 in the Kinlev Low Goal polo Cup on Thursday. Zamco, having half goal on handicap took 2 1/2-1 lead in the first chukker.

Tahir Aslam and Moin Yaqub, who scored two each, blasted home with their first goal.

Four-goal Shahzad Aziz struck his first for the losers.

In the beginning of second chukker, Shahzad put his side 3-2 1/2 ahead scoring back-to-back goals and also completed hat trick. But in the dying minutes Hamza opened his account with a field goal to salvage lead 3 1/2-3.

The third chukker saw Zamco gain a comfortable lead 6 1/2-3 as Hamza struck two and Moin added his second.

Maintaining the onslaught, Zamco added two more in the fourth chukker through Hamza and Tahir while Shahzad contributed his fourth for the losers to make the tally.
