Fratricide

SWABI, April 2: A man allegedly killed his brother while his son was injured over a land dispute in the Topi bazaar here on Monday. The incident occurred during a jirga which was convened to settle the dispute between Malik Aman and his brother Mir Alam. The two men exchanged hot words and then attacked each other with pistols.

Malik Aman died and Imran, son of Mir Alam, suffered bullet injuries. The alleged killer fled.

The Topi police registered a case against Mir Alam and started investigation.—Correspondent
