Shamyl Alam steals show

LAHORE, March 30: Back-to-back goals by Shah Shamyl Alam helped Guard Rice defeat Goodwill Foods 7 - 5 ½ in the Kinley polo cup on Friday.

Shamyl added the goals in the fourth chukker when his team was losing the match 5 - 5 ½.

Raja Samiullah scored four goals for the winners while Taimur Malik struck one.

For Goodwill Foods, Mauricio Devrient scored all the five goals.

In another match, SKM beat Mohsin's Own 6-1.

For the winners, Kasim Ahmad Khan scored five while Qadeer Ashfaq contributed with one goal.

Samir Malik scored the only goal for Mohsin’s Own.

Five goals by Hashim Kamal Agha enabled Technimen beat Harvesters 6 - 1 ½. Shahid Nawaz scored the remaining goal.

Ali Hashim Rizvi struck the only goal for Harvesters.
