DERA GHAZI KHAN, March 25: An oil pipeline of Parco was blown up near Rojhan in Rajanpur district, some 200km from here, early on Sunday morning.

The 16-inch diameter pipeline supplying oil from Karachi to the Mahmoodkot refinery in Muzaffargarh district was blown up in the limits of the Mazari-dominated area of Chouki Kin, Rojhan tehsil, at 3am, damaging a three-metre portion of the pipeline.

A Parco official told Dawn that the pipeline was non-functional due to the annual repair work and the remaining oil in it went to waste after the blast.
