LARKANA, March 23: A 13-year-old girl was allegedly raped in the Qambar-Shahdadkot district’s Warah town on Friday. On a complaint of the girl’s father, Mashooque Khaskheli, police registered an FIR under the Zina Hudood Ordinance against two people working in a rice mill.

Mr Khashkheli stated in the FIR that his daughter Safia had gone to the mill to buy ‘Katty’ (a by-product of paddy) where Ali Nawaz Buriro and Shabeer Shaikh allegedly locked her in a room and raped her.

A woman medical officer of the Warah Taluka Hospital, Dr Afroz Wagan, conducted the medical check-up of the girl, but the report has not been issued yet.
