Man deprived of Rs570,000

LAHORE, March 14: Robbers deprived a Gujranwala-based citizen of cash and valuables in Hanjarwal on Wednesday. Noor Tarar had come to Lahore to withdraw cash from a bank. When he was on way back to Gujranwala by a car, some armed men stopped him in Hanjarwal and snatched Rs570,000 in cash and two cell phones from him.

Two gun-toting men barged into the house of Shahzad in Muslim Town and took away cash and valuables worth Rs200,000.
