Blind cricketers for England

LAHORE, Feb 22: Pakistan blind cricket team will play five international matches and four side matches against England blind team during its tour of Britain from June 15 to 30.

The Pakistan Blind Cricket Council announced that the team has been invited by the British Blind Sports Cricket Committee (BBSCC).

Pakistan will include the following 11 players:

Syed Sultan Shah, Muhammad Shahbaz, Syed Mujeebuddin, Abdul Razzaq, Ashraf Bhatti, Anees Ashfaq, Muhammad Fayyaz, Muzaffar Husain, Masood Jan, Zafar Alam, Syed Adnan Ahmad.

Six more cricketers will be added to those already chosen after holding trials.

The team will play its first  one-day international match against England at Eton College (Windsor) ground on June 23.

FOLLOWING IS THE TOUR ITINERARY :

June 17: vs Side Club at Leeds.

June 20: vs The West at Bristol.

June 21: vs. The Midlands at Cambridge.

June 23: First One-Day International at Eton College, Windsor.

June 25: Second One-Day International at Bradfield College.

June 26: Third One-Day International at East & West Hendred Club.

June 28: Fourth One-Day International at Hampshire County ground.

June 29: Fifth One-Day International at Sussex Club ground at Hove.

The same team is expected to play in the World Blind Cricket Cup to be organised by India at a later stage.
