JACOBABAD, March 9: A man and his 10-year-old nephew were run over by a speedy wagon on the Ranjanpur Road in Mirpur Buriro police station area on Friday.
Reports reaching here said that Hamzo Khan, 45, and Akbar, 10, were crossing the road when the wagon coming from Jacobabad hit them. Both died instantly.
Police removed the bodies to Thull hospital for autopsy.
The wagon passengers staged a demonstration against the driver who escaped after the accident. Police have impounded the vehicle.
