BAJAUR, March 8: The tribal administration has asked the people living in areas around four major markets to stay indoors during the night in the wake of increasing attacks on barber and video shops.

An order signed by Mawas Khan Afridi, the political tehsildar of Khar, the agency headquarters of Bajaur, issued on Thursday asked the people to stay indoors from 8.30pm till morning.

The order, put up at several places, was issued on the directives of the political agent. The shopkeepers have been asked to close their shops before 8.30pm.

People have been advised that in case of emergencies they should carry a torch or a lantern so that they could be seen by the personnel of law-enforcement agencies.
