PESHAWAR, March 4: A man committed suicide on Sunday. The 55-year-old Shireen of the Chamkani area committed suicide reportedly after a domestic dispute. Shireen, an Afghan refugee, shot himself in his head.

Three other people lost their lives in separate accidents. An electrician, Lal Zada, was electrocuted while repairing a cable in a house in the Wazir Colony in the Faqirabad area. Another man identified as Khalil was killed after he was hit by a motorbike on the Jamrud Road near Kacha Garhi.

He was taken to the Khyber Teaching Hospital but he did not survive. The motorcyclist managed to escape. An FIR has been lodged against unknown persons.

Gul Sher was killed when he was hit by a truck in front of the PDA building in Hayatabad. The man was a resident of the Umanzi area in Charsadda district.
