LAHORE, March 4: Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has elevated director administration Lt-Col Ahmad Yar Khan as new secretary of the federation to replace Arshad Lodhi.

Arshad has been shown the door by PFF Congress on Saturday after it was decided to have a paid secretary general as per FIFA directives.

Lt-Col Ahmad was working as director administration since March 2004. He is the paid secretary of the PFF.

The new secretary said responsibilities were not new to him as he was virtually running all the affairs despite being the director administration.
